Glitch Supplements is a California-based startup and beverage company. The main product offered is a line of beverages infused with supplements beneficial for video gaming. Harrison Oak worked with Glitch to develop their brand, and created content to be used as an ad campaign targeting gamers.
The brand’s visual aesthetic was based around analog and digital glitches. The logotype is a bold, futuristic sans serif, cut into slices, warped, and displaced to create a glitch-like effect. The logo variations use neon (pinks and blues), against black to bring the user into the digital world of Glitch.
A series of ads was designed to promote the supplement across a multitude of platforms, including social media and email campaigns. The ad campaign contains manipulated photos of gamers that showcase a glitchy effect, continuing the neon color scheme established in the branding.
As a part of the branding design, Harrison Oak also defined the brand voice surrounding Glitch. The advertisements include the main tagline “This is your brain on Glitch.”, as well as other secondary phrases. The copywriting for the email campaigns, website verbiage, and social media posts was also created to be compelling for the audience of gamers.
